Bakersfield Californian, Bakersfield, California, Friday, November 10, 1967, Page 12, Col.5: Glass, Alfred James---Services will be conducted in Greenlawn Memorial chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday for Alfred James Glass, 69, 519 Monterey Street, who died Wednesday in a Bakersfield hospital. The Rev. George James of the Rexland Acres Assembly of God Church, will officiate, and interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Glass, a native of Oklahoma, had lived in Kern County 25 years. He had been engaged in farming for 40 years. Survivors include his widow, Mary; four sons, Ernest of Nevada, Robert and Francis Noyes of Bakersfield, and Paul Noyes, Cardiff; five daughters, Virginia Dunn of Modesto, Freda Wattle of Lamont, Mrs. James Pitts, Mrs. Douglas Hudson and Mrs. Grady Fulce, all of Bakersfield; four sisters, Alice Sephus of Shafter, Addie Lowe, Buelah Runyon and Berniece Kight, all of Oklahoma; three brothers, Earl, Walter, and Orville, all of Oklahoma; 25 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert Noyes, Francis Noyes, Paul Noyes, Douglas Hudson, James Pitts and Grady Fulce.
