Bannon Mortuary, 6800 East 14th St., Oakland, on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. Mr. Laing, a native of Kansas City, Kan., lived at 16198 Via Andela, San Lorenzo. An employee of the Southern Pacific Company he served as a manager in San Lorenzo Boys Club Little League program. He leaves his widow, Melba, a son, Richard Laing; two daughters, Patricia Ann and Jodie Laing; a brother, George Laing of Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. Mary Kahn of Kansas City, Kan., and also two grandchildren in England. Burial will be at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno.
