Kansas City Star, Kansas City, Missouri, December 6, 1918: Laing---James Isaac Laing, 45 years old, died yesterday of pneumonia at home, 312 South Ninth Street, Kansas side. He is survived by his wife Bessie M. Laing and five children. Funeral services will be tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home; burial Woodlawn Cemetery.
