Aycock, 86, of El Dorado, president and director of Aycock Oil Corporation, died Friday. Mr. Aycock attended Mississippi State University and was former vice president and director of Root Petroleum Co., vice president of Pan Am Southern Corporation, now American Oil Co., and Former director of the Exchange Bank and Trust co. He was a former president of the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce and was a lifetime member of the El Dorado Masonic Lodge and an honorary member of the American petroleum Institute 25-Year Club. He organized the Hamer Corporation, and Greenville Midstream Service Inc. He was a Methodist and a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. Survivors are his wife, Theodorah Marks Aycock; a daughter, Helen A. Clyde of El Dorado; two sisters, Mr. Monroe A. Dugan of Macon, Miss., and Mrs. Jack G. Platt of Memphis, and three grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in El Dorado. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery in El Dorado by Young's Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital in Shreveport. La.
