The Sun Herald, Biloxi, Mississippi, Friday, October 31, 2003: Mrs. Bessie L. Taylor, age 82, of Vancleave, died Tuesday, October 28, 2003, in Vancleave. Mrs. Taylor was a resident of Ocean Springs for 30 years. She worked in the hotel/motel industry for many years. She was a member of Little Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Taylor, her parents, Will and Emma Aycock, and six sisters.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by two daughters, Jean Hart and husband, Robert, of Vancleave, and Ann Raley of Wiggins, a son, George M. Taylor and wife, Polly, of Lufkin, TX., four grandchildren, Chad Brown and wife, Janae, Keith McMurphy, Chuck McMurphy and wife, Tina, Amy Strackbein and husband, Maynard, and two great-grandchildren, Madelyn Brown and Ashley Strackbein.

On Friday, October 31, 2003, there will be an 11 AM graveside service, Biloxi National Cemetery. Ocean Springs Chapel, Bradford O'Keefe is in charge of arrangements. A special thanks to her good friend, Delois Clifton and also to Amy Black and Melissa Webster with Quality Hospice.
