Reser, 57, 61 Baker St., died early this morning at Akron General Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Plappsville, Ohio, Jan. 12, 1909, he had lived here for the past 30 years, moving from Sandusky. A graduate of Sandusky Business college, he was an accountant and was secretary-treasurer of the Monroeville Oil Co. He was a member of Roby Lodge, F&AM, Althea Chapter O.E.S., Norwalk Elks Lodge, and the Congregational Community Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Ruth Biddle, whom he married Nov. 21, 1927; two sons, Richard, Elyria; David, Fairview Park; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Oblinger, Piqua; Mrs. Robert Kromer, Norwalk and three brothers, Ira, Grayling, Mich.; Leon, Tiffin and Harry McCluskey, Sandusky. Friends may call after 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Drake Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Edward A. Rebmann officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Huron.
