Ellen "Ella" Moore
(Abt 1830 - 28 Feb 1889)
Posted at findagrave.com: This information taken from West Cuivre Baptist Church listings from: Audrain. mogenweb. org/cem/WestCuivreBaptistChurchC....
Ellen Moore first appears in the 1850 census as Elenor Martin at the residence of her husband in Washington, Greene, Pennsylvania. She was the mother of four children. Her husband was a farmer and Baptist minister. In 1880, she claims both of her parents were born in England.
Her birth year is estimated most consistently as 1830 in the census records, but she has been reported born as early as 1824. The cemetery record of her tombstone suggests an even earlier 1822. Because of these inconsistencies, her birth year has been left blank for now.
Ellen passed away 28 Feb 1889 in Martinsburg, Audrain, MO of pneumonia.
