Charles F. Foster, age 90 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Friday, January 1, 2010 at the Missouri Veterans Home, Warrensburg, Missouri. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Tuesday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the Missosuri Veterans Home, Warrensburg or the Southern Care Hospice, Lee's Summit, Missouri and may be left at the funeral home. Charles was born in Mount Ayr, Iowa. He was an Army veteran serving in W.W. II and was a P.O.W. He was a master watch maker. He was a member of the Clinton V.F.W. Post 1894 where he served on the Honor Guard. the American Legion Post No. 14, Clinton and the American Ex-Prisioners of War.

He is survived by his wife, Cleone of Windsor, Missouri and his daughter, Connie Easter and husband, Kenneth of Clinton; three grandchildren, Mark Andrew Easter and wife, Whitney of Independence, Missouri, Devin Eugene Easter and wife, Tracy of Overland, Kansas and Nicole Reva' Higgins and husband, Mark of Strafford, Missouri and eight great grandchildren, Colten Crowder of Deepwater, Missouri, Brenna Easter, Logan Easter and Frank Easter of Independence, Missouri and Drake Higgins, Luke Higgins, Noa Higgins and Max Higgins, all of Strafford, Missouri.
