A private memorial service will be held later for Robin Ruth Claypool, who died Aug. 23, 1998, at age 91. Mrs. Claypool was born Oct. 11, 1906, in Colorado Springs, Colo., and was raised in various California towns. Her maiden name was Seitter. She was a practical nurse for about 30 years, retiring in 1971. She lived in the central California Valley, including 20 years in Stockton, and moved to Gresham in 1995. Survivors include her son, Lawrence ''Larry'' of Valley Springs, Calif.; daughter, Jeanette E. Boda of Gresham; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Interment will be in California. Arrangements are by Gresham Funeral Chapel.
