Obituary from the Tacoma News Tribune, April 18, 1963, page C 4: Mrs. Earl (Pearl Virginia) Herbert, 54, of 5121 N. 48th St., died this morning in a local hospital. She was born in Bisbee, Ariz., and came to Tacoma 18 years ago. She was a member of the Fourth Ward, church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) and the women's axilliary of the Elks Lodge in Bisbee. She leaves twin daughters, Misses Lorine and Nadine Herbert of the home; three brothers, William McKay of El Centro, Calif., Charles McKay of Bisbee and George Brown of Bell Gardens, Calif; and a sister Mrs. Beatrice Champion of Kelso. Services will be announced by the Mountain View Funeral Home.
