Layton (nee Stucker) for 65 years; loving father of Jeff (Marge) Layton and the late Sharon Benz and Jerry (Chris) Benz; cherished grandfather of Joell (Jamie) Patton, Justin (Erin) Benz, Julie (Tom) Whitehead, Lindsay Layton, Jim Matthews and Jeff Matthews; great-grandfather of Brian, Kyle, Noah, Kaylee, Nora, Alexis and Tommy; dear brother of 8 late brothers and sisters; our dear uncle, great-uncle, brother-in-law, cousin and friend. Services: Mr. Layton will lie in state at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. (at Butler Hill) on Thurs., March 12 from 4-8pm, then taken to St. Marks U.C.C. Arnold for visitation from 10 am until service time at 11 am. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery. Memorials to the Lupus Foundation appreciated.
