The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2009, at the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls, with the Rev. James Harmon, pastor and the Rev. Leo Hargis, of Calvary Assembly of God Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. A daughter of the late Charles M. and Ethel (Crutcher) Bellows, she was born May 11, 1923, in Calliham, Texas. On August 3, 1940, she married Sam Jenkins in Fannin County, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 5, 2005. Mrs. Jenkins worked in food service for the Wichita Falls Independent School District for many years. She was a long time, faithful member of Calvary Assembly of God Church. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Allen Bellows in 2008. Survivors include her daughter, Freida McAninch and husband, Allen of Grand Prairie; son, Keith Jenkins and wife, LaDeana of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Dr. Scott McAninch and wife, Lauren of Belton and Laura Jenkins of Wichita Falls; great-grandchildren, Meckenzie McAninch, Katelyn McAninch, Addison McAninch, Ethan McAninch, all of Belton, Audrianna Jenkins, Augustine Minjarez and Alise Garcia, all of Wichita Falls; sister, Joyce Wyatt of Wichita Falls; sister-in-law, Jean Bellows of Wichita Falls; also many nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Robinson, Joey Lama, Efrem Garcia, James Skinner, Ed Tigrett and Bobby Lama. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 17, 2009, at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
