She died February 2, 1977 at Northern View nursing home in McPherson. Mrs. Kirkpatrick lived most of her life in Salina. She was the manager of a collection agency until her retirement. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.Survivors included a sister, Edith Ohman, and four grandchildren.
