Washington, Jan. 7--Word was received in Washington today that Mrs. Sally Lark Garlington, widow of Albert G. Garlington, C.S.A. and mother of Gen. Ernest A. Garlington, inspector general of the United States army, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Y. Fair, at Newberry, S. C. She was eighty-tow years of age. Gen. Garlington has left Washington to attend the funeral in South Carolina tomorrow.
