Pullman, Wash. -- Marvin Spencer Old, 77, born July 20, 1884, in Boone County, Mo., died Monday. His family moved to Washington in 1888, and settled in Pomeroy. He came to Whitman County in 1935 and farmed near Albion until his retirement 11 years ago, when he moved to Pullman. Survivors include his wife, Minnie, Pullman; a son, Aaron Old, Albion; a sister, Mrs. Matthew Slaydaugh, and a half-brother, Thiron Crawford, both of Pomeroy; two half-sisters, Mrs. Delbert Ginerich, Pomeroy, and Mrs. Emmett Johnson, Clarkston, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in Kimball's Funeral Home, the Rev. Harold Smith of Albion officiating. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
