Alice Jane Duncan died Friday at a local nursing home, where she had been for the past year. She was born May 24, 1898, in Butte County and lived most of her life in the Oroville-Rush Creek area. Survivors are a daughter, Arletta Drybread of Cottonwood; a son, David Ferguson of Grass Valley, and a sister Adeline Graham of Oroville. The Rev. Robert Walker of the Paradise Methodist Church officiated at funeral services Tuesday at the Chapel of the Pines. Burial was in Paradise cemetery.
