Hamm at Pewitt Chapel in Ellington, Tuesday, March 8, conducted by Rev. Jim Morris, the music furnished by members of the First Baptist Church choir with Maude Clark at the organ. Interment in Ellington Memorial Cemetery, with the Masonic Lodge in charge of graveside services. Amiel S. Hamm, 65, passed away suddenly March 16th at Belleville Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill. Born September 27, 1903, he was a son of David and Lenora (Sutherman) Hamm. Mr. Hamm was married to Carmen Jane Bowers, who survives. He was a member of Emeth Lodge #1030 A.F. & A.M. and Past President of Paint Production Club. The body laid in state at Alexander and Sons Town Chapel until 10 PM Monday, when it was removed to Pewitt Chapel in Ellington.
