On the 1910 U. S. Census of Jackson Township, Carter Co., Missouri, William D. Ham appears with his wife Lenora D. and children Earl, Abby L., Otho P., John D., Amiel S., George O. C., and Oleta P. Abby's father was born in Indiana, the only child to show that. Lenora states she is the mother of 7, with 5 currently living.
On the 1920 U. S. Census of Ellsinore, Carter Co., Missouri, William David Ham appears with his wife Lenora D., and children John David, Amiel S., Ottis E., Oleta Pearl and Philip S. G. William is a farm laborer working out and John David is a printer at a news office. The family is living on Cherry Street no house number listed.
On the 1930 U. S. Census of St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Missouri, William D. Ham appears with his wife Nora and children John, Amiel and Philip. William is 72 and not working, John is a maintenance man at an apartment house, Amiel is a mixer at a paint company, and Philip is a file clerk at an electric company. The family is living at 2612 North Eleventh Street.
