Holbrook, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Kanantz Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Peter A. Vial. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Darling died Monday at Mercy Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Fort Scott, and was born April 17, 1893, the daughter of Isaac Newton and Emma C. Van Benthusen Briggs. She married Marvin darling, Dec. 29, 1912, at Fort Scott. He died Feb. 22, 1968. Mrs. Darling was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Fidelis Deo Shrine No. 6 of White Shrine of Jerusalem. Survivors include one son, Robert Z. Darling of Ponca City, Okla.; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Ferguson of Little Rock, Ark.; and three grandchildren.
