A Jane Briggs is buried at Green Valley Cemetery, Lane, Miami Co., Kansas from Find-A-Grave. The information is: born Mary 18, 1808 and died 3 March 1895. Unable to verify this is our Jane. She did have a child living in an adjoining county--Philip in Bates Co., Missouri. The US Genweb site of Miami Co., Kansas has excellent on-line data, but other than a being on the cemetery list, no further evidence of her or her children was found.
