Forest "Jack" Briscoe

Obituary from Council Bluffs Nonpareil newspaper, June 24, 1945, Forest "Jack" Brisco, age 41, resident of Council Bluffs for most of his life died Friday at his residence, 3450 11th Avenue, after an illness of six weeks. Mr. Brisco was weighmaster for the Omaha Grain Exchange and a member of the First Christian Church of this city. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Christena Rauth Brisco, a daughter Suzann, both of Council Bluffs, and a son Jack Earl Brisco of Allentown, Pa. The funeral will be Monday at 4 pm at Woodring Chapel, the Reverand Loren Works of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Lawn. The body is at the Woodring Funeral Home.

On Forest's death information it lists his mother as Merle Ryan. He was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Briscoe.
