Cowan, 72, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday (today) in the Assembly of God Church here with the pastor, Reverend Harold Stockton officiating. Mrs. Cowan, a long-time resident of Checotah and Eufaula, died at her home Saturday. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery at Checotah directed by Kelley Funeral Home. She is survived by four sons, Burl of Checotah, Dale of Bakersfield, California, Don of Henryetta and Yale of Midwest City and five daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Cowan, Wewoka, Mrs. Fern Pendergraft, Henryetta, Mrs. Erma Grisby [Grigsby], Checotah, and Mrs. Olean Reeves, Eufaula, and Mrs. Doris Jones, Taft, California.
