Frenchman, he leaves his son, Robert, daughter-in-law, Miriam, two grandchildren, Lori Frenchman and Debra Kissel, and two brothers, Milton and Lou. He served his country as a captain in the United States Army during World War II for five years and later became the sole owner of S-T-M Supply Company in Perth Amboy, N.J., as president and C.E.O. A philanthropist throughout his life, he had a particular fondness for the Daughters of Israel on Pleasant Valley Way in West Orange, where he made numerous contributions that included a centralized internal radio station, WMRF, for all residents. Donations may be made to the Daughters of Isra- el, 1155 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange. A private family ceremony took place at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman in Livingston with a graveside service in B'Nai Abraham Memorial Park in Union.
