Obituary from the Bloomington Telephone, January 28, 1943: Moore Funeral To Be Held On Friday. Funeral rites for Raymond E. Moore, 54 year-old stone worker, who died in his home near Stinesville, Wednesday morning, will be held at 10:30 o'clock, Friday morning at the Baptist church in Stinesville. The Rev. H. S. Martin will officiate, and burial will be in the Chambersville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be veterans of the World War I. They will include Ross Taylor, Commodore Taylor, Walker Farmer, Cris Summitt, Ervin Medley, and Fred LaShine. The body will remain at the Bratton Funeral Home in Elletsville until time for the service.

All are veterans of the first World war in which Mr. Moore served. Mr. Moore died Wednesday at his home in Stinesville, following a stroke of paralysis.
