Hutchinson News, Hutchinson, Kansas, Thursday, July 27, 1961, Page 3, Col. 1: Mrs. Arlie D. Ramsey. Garden City---Mrs. Minnie J. Ramsey, 77, died Wednesday morning at Stella's Nursing Home. She had been a patient two and a half years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Missionary Society. She was born Jan. 14, 1884 in Jewell city. On Dec. 27, 1905, she married Arlie D. Ramsey at Jamestown. They moved to Garden City in 1906. In 1924, they moved to California, and returned to Garden city in 1942, where they had lived since. Survivors are the widower; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Snyder, Parsons, Mrs. May Lewis Topanga Canyon, Calif.; and two brothers, John Baldwin, Sacramento, Calif., Wesley, Syracuse. Funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church, Garden City, Rev. Richard Feldman officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery. Friends may call at the Garnand Chapel Thursday from noon until 9:30 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to noon Friday.
