Franklin Co., Illinois area newspaper, May 10, 1965: Services in Sesser Tuesday for Mrs. Lillie Kirkpatrick. Mrs. Lillie Kirkpatrick, 82, former resident of Sesser, and a native of the county, died Saturday in Defiance, Ohio. The widow of Jim Kirkpatrick, she leaves a daughter Mrs. Madge Leever of Defiance, four grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A son was the late Olen Kirkpatrick. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Horse Prairie Church, with the Reverend Wayne Thomas officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the service.
