Obituary from Courier, Charleston, Missouri, Thursday, March 14, 1974: Kirkpatrick rites scheduled for Friday. Funeral services for Mrs. Charles (Ethel) Kirkpatrick, 92, will be held Friday, March 15 at 2 p.m., in the McMikle Chapel in Charleston. The Rev. Vergil Eaton, pastor of the United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery. Mrs. Kirkpatrick died Tuesday March 12, at her home in Spokane, Wash. She was born March 7, 1882. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was a former resident of Charleston. Her husband, Judge Kirkpatrick died in 1956. Survivors are one daughter Mrs. Ray (Ella Sparks) Bryan of Spokane; one brother James Sparks of Lubbock, Tex.; one step-daughter, Kathern Edwards of Little Rock; and six grandchildren. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was a member of the United Methodist Church and a member of the PEO.
