Marble Hill Banner Press, Marble Hill, Missouri, June 19, 1958: Henry A. Kirkpatrick, 68 years old, died Sunday at the Veterans Hospital in Poplar Bluff, where he had been a patient for several days. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Kirkpatrick, he was born on the farm where he had resided. He was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Letha Kirkpatrick; one daughter, Mrs. Dale Yount of Marquand, MO; three brothers, Bertrand of Alice, TX; Joe of Glen Allen, MO; Logan of Flat River, MO; and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Pleasant Valley Church near Patton; Rev. Ray Tallent, of Patton, conducted services and burial was in the church cemetery with military rites.
