North Platte Telegraph-Bulletin, North Platte, Nebraska, December 6, 1962, Page 9, Col. 2: Ward W. McCance, 53, of 1700 East Tenth, died at his home this morning. He was the operator of the McCance Nurseries and had been a resident of North Platte for the past 40 years, coming here from Kearney. Survivors include three sons, Richard, Dean and Leonard of North Platte and one brother, Charley of Cozad. Arrangements are pending at the Maloney Cox and Kuhns Funeral Home.

McCance, 54, who died Thursday morning at his home will be held at the Maloney, Cox and Kuhns Chapel at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. George Olson of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

McCance, 54, who died at his home Thursday were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Maloney Cox and Kuhns Chapel with the Rev. George Olson of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. The organist was Mrs. F. H. Wanek. Vocalist was Mrs. Glenn Watson. Pallbearers were Cecil Land, Ancil Stoner, Ronald Stoner, Orlo Reeves, Larry Stoner and William Schmidt.
Burial was in the Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
