Funeral services for Hosea Emory Kirkpatrick, 79, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Full Gospel Mission Church in Buckner. The Reverend Orley Uhles will officiate, with interment in Harrison Cemetery. The body is lying in state at the Russell Funeral Home in Christopher. Mr. Kirkpatrick, of Buckner, died Monday at Franklin Hospital in Benton after an extended illness. He was a retired carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Mabel Kleine Kirkpatrick; two step-sons, Kenneth Utley, Buckner and David Utley, Orlando, Florida; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He also leaves eight brothers and sisters: Marion and Edward Kirkpatrick, both of Phoenix, Arizona; Mrs. Marie Parkinson, Sesser; Mrs. Irmal Swisher, Mulkeytown; Mrs. Lou Gregory, Mulkeytown; Mrs. Ruby Whitlow; Mrs. Clauday Stevens, both of Glendale, Arizona and Mrs. Beulah Fishel, Yellowville, Ark. Written on obituary was, died Mon. May 8, 1972.
