Funeral services for the late Godfrey Haas, who passed away here early in the week, were held this afternoon from the David Sell chapel, Rev. B. H. Murtt of the Congregational church officiating. Interment was made at Riverside. Godfrey Haas was born in Grant county, Wis., in 1862, passing away here May 2 of this year. He was united in marriage to Helena Elliot in 1881, the couple coming to South Dakota in 1902, settling on a farm six miles north of Huron where Mr. Haas resided until his death. Mrs. Haas passed away eight years ago. The deceased is survived by five daughters, one son and six grandchildren.
