Douglas County Herald, Ava, Douglas Co., Missouri, January 14, 1943: Mrs. F. G. Hosier Dies Wednesday. Mrs. F. G. Hosier died at her home in Ava early Wednesday morning. She would have been 46 years old January 21. Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at the Clinkingbeard chapel with the Rev. J. W. Mason officiating. Mrs. Hosier was born in Denmark, January 21, 1897. She came to this country in 1902 with her mother. She married F. G. Hosier January 31, 1917 at Albert Lea, Minnesota. Five children were born to them, one preceding Mrs. Hosier in death. She leaves her husband and four children, Helen, Dorothy, Robert and June, all of the home.
