Posted at findagrave.com: Granville was the son of Robert and Hannah Brewer Johnston, the husband of Parlee Jane Halcomb Johnston. He married Parlee Jane, the daughter of Ira and Mary Creech Halcomb, on December 18, 1884 in Jackson County, Kentucky. The couple were the parents of Enoch, Robert, Roscoe, Edgar, Bertha Belle, Mary Lucy and Earl Johnston. Mr. Johnston was a carpenter, by trade, and moved his family to Hamilton, Ohio for better work opportunities. He was widowed in 1938 and he moved back to his native Kentucky, about four months, prior to his passing.
