Reese Elberry Farmer

Reese Elberry Farmer was born 10 February 1867 in Blooming Grove, Navarro County, Texas, and died on 18 September 1916 in Dawson, Navarro County, Texas. On 10 August 1894 he married Fannie Lemon Lee, daughter of James Magenis and Annie (Richie) Lee, who was born 21 January 1878 and died 7 December 1957 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. Both are buried in the Dawson Cemetery, Dawson, Texas.
There were eight (8) children born of the marriage.

Funeral of the Late Reece Farmer, who died yesterday afternoon at his home near Dawson as the result of a pistol shot wound alleged to have been made by Will Medkiff, a tenant on Farmer’s farm, took place at Dawson this afternoon and was largely attended. Surviving the deceased are his wife and seven children, his parents, one brother and two sisters. His father, Pete Farmer, lives between Blooming Grove and Dresden, and is past ninety years of age, possibly the oldest man in Navarro county.
