Notes
Research Notes
There is another couple from New York who seem to get mixed up with our relative, Ada "Addie" Hosier. Addie's husband is Milton David (M. D.) Carpenter. They lived in Chautauqua Co., New York. The other couple is Millard Delos (M. D.) Carpenter and his wife Ada Bumpus. It wasn't until finding this Mrs. Carpenter's obit in the Sandy Creek News, Sandy Creek, New York, Thursday, July 8, 1926, Page 5, Col. 5, that her maiden name of Bumpus was known. They lived in Oswego Co., New York.
Both couples were born in the 1850's.
