Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2011 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Lee Smith officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. prior to service. Interment will follow service in Longtown Cemetery, Crenshaw, MS. Mr. Parrish was born August 19, 1942 in Sledge, MS to the late Bilbo and Bertha Elizabeth Tutor Parrish. He was a retired iron worker. Mr. Parrish was also a member of New Life Ministries Church in Olive Branch, MS. Mr. Parrish is survived by his wife, Edna Suzanne Littlejohn Parrish of Walls, MS; one daughter, Sonya Ruth Parrish Benson of Horn Lake, MS; one son, Bryan Michael Parrish of Nesbit, MS; one step-daughter, Alice Marie Forsyth Swilley of Olive Branch, MS; one step-son, Richard Gates Forsyth of Oakland, TN; step-mother, Earline Parrish of Tunica, MS; 4 sisters, Billie Parrish Jones of Crenshaw, MS, Shirley Parrish Hudspeth of Tunica, MS, Donna Parrish Wimberly of Sledge, MS, Wanda Parrish Welch of Laurel, MS; 10 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.
