He is survived by his daughter Donna Gayle Poe Kuhen; 5 granddaughters Callie Kate Hamilton, husband Jack Hamilton and children Dylan, Keaton, Kuhen; Cassie Kay Orr her husband Randy and 2 children Cliff & Charlotte; Carrie Kendall Kuhen, Chloe Kyle Kuhen, Carley Kennedy Kuhen. Clifford E. Poe, of Kempner, died March 8, 2008, in California. He was 84. Graveside services were held Thursday at the Copperas Cove City Cemetery. Mr. Poe was born Feb. 9, 1924, in Flat to the late Archie F. Poe and Beulah B. (McKee) Poe. On July 4, 1947, he married Eldine K. Aycock. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1943 to 1963. He was a home builder, rancher and land developer in the area for many years. He also served on the Kempner Water Board. He was preceded in death by a son, Clifford E. Poe Jr.; a grandson, Clifford E. Poe III; three brothers, Fowler M. Poe, T.H. Poe and Archie Poe Jr.; and a sister, Mozell Cummings. Survivors include his wife, Eldine Poe; a daughter, Donna Kuhen; a sister, Janett Spence; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
