Frederick Ross Hill was born 29 December 1938, near Douglas, Converse County, Wyoming, and died 2 May 1994 in Bossier City, Bossier Parish, Louisiana. He was married three times, first to Jacqueline Hammons. Secondly, he married Vickie Parmely, and third, Gail Robertson, whom he maried on 31 December 1961. He was in the Navy and later was the manager of a gaming business.

He was born on his grandparents' homestead north of Douglas, Wyoming; the son of Arthur and Gladys (Graves) Hill. He grew up and was educated in Douglas, graduating from Douglas High School in 1956. He entered the U.S. Navy and served for three years. Following his discharge, Mr. Hill attended Casper College for two years. He then lived in the Lake Tahoe, Nev., area and worked in the gaming industry. On February 9, 1967, he married Jacqueline Hammons at Lake Tahoe. He recently traveled to Bossier City and continued to work in the gaming industry. As a youth, he was affiliated with the Methodist Church and was active in 4-H and scouting. He is survived by his wife, of Gardnerville; his mother, Gladys Hill of Douglas; his children, Leslee Carr of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Rochelle Gallagher of Phoenix; a brother, Tom Hill of Laramie; two granddaughters, Shanel and Sierra Gallagher of Phoenix; and five nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Hill; and his sister, Constance Horne. Information was obtained from his obituary and cemetery records.
