The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, Friday, July 3, 1992: Lancaster---Mr. Charles Caskey Jr., 66, of 2389 Mackey Rd. died July 2, 1992, at home. Funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Joe Peek will officiate. Burial will be in New Hope Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is from 7 to 9 tonight at Mahaffey Funeral Home. Mr. Caskey was owner of Nu-Way Air Filter Inc. He was a Sunday school teacher at his church, a member of Jackson Masonic Lodge No. 53, Lancaster Moose Lodge and American Legion Post No. 31. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was the son of the late Charles and Margaret Kirkpatrick Caskey. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Sarah Suttle Caskey; son, Eric Caskey of Hilton Head; daughters, Mrs. Regina Williams, Mrs. Angela Gardner, both of Charlotte; sisters, Mrs. Harry Baker, Mrs. Jack Mahaffey, both of Charlotte, Mrs. Kathryn Mosteller of Jacksonville, Fl., Mrs. Margaret Beckham, Mrs. Betty Adams; three grandchildren. Memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund, Route, 8, Lancaster, S.C., 29720, or the Hospice of Lancaster, 800 W. Meeting St., Lancaster, S.C., 29720.
