On the 1920 U. S. Census of St. Francois, Wayne Co., Missouri William Allen appears with his wife Ada and children Emory, Mattie, Thomas, Arthur, Sherman, Elmo and Eula. The children before Arthur are ages, 40, 36 and 33 respectfully. They are evidently from a previous marriage of William's. Also in the household is a grand son, Alva Cline age 18.
