Representative of Storey Bros. on British Plastics Federation, member of Council, Leathercloth and Coated Fabrics manufacturers Assocn., and British Baby Carriage and Furniture Manufacturers Assocn., (subsequently British Baby Products Assocn.) Succeeded his father (as Joint-Trustee) to the St. Michael's-on-Wyre estate, and as Joint-Patron of the living of St. Michael's (with his first cousin, Richard Phipps Hornby, Esq. -q.v.), 1977. Member, St. Michael's-on-Wyre Parochial Church Council, Manager, and later Governor, St. Michael's-on-Wyre C. of E. Primary School. Chairman of Trustees, Knowles' Charity (St. Michael's Section), 1977, and Trustee of main Charity, 1981. Chairman, St. Michael's-on-Wyre Flood Council, 1981."
