Walter Moreland Nicholson, age 83 years, died at his home in Sparksville Monday evening at 4:45 o'clock, following an illness of two months. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of the Rev. Lawrence Knight, burial in the Dixon Chapel cemetary. He was a life-long resident of Jackson County and was born at Sparksville February 27, 1864. His wife preceded him in death. He is survived by one son, Raymond Nicholson, Sparksville, and one daughter, Mrs. Anna Garrison of Mitchell.
