This Information was found in Ira John Galloway's note book and in the 1851 Canadian Census. James Galloway, Jr. was seventeen years old and living with his parents at the time of the 1851 Census in Cavan Twp., Durham Co., (now called Peterborough Co.) Ont. Canada. He visited his brother, Ira John in Chatham Ont., Canada on Dec. 7, 1874. His Funeral was at a Wesleyan Methodist Church, in Waverly by Rev. James McFarlen. He died in Wybridge, April 25, 1875. He was buried on April 30, 1875 at the Village of Waverly in the Township of Floss in the County of North Simcoe. Also in Ira John Galloway's note book, it mentions a legal Description of Lot 12, First Concession Twp. of Tay County of North Simcoe.
In the 1871 Canadian Census it was found that James Jr. was 36 years old and his wife Nancy Anne was 26. All birth dates of his children were determined from the 1871 Census. James Jr. and his family lived in Tay Twp., North Simcoe County, Ontario Canada at the time of the 1871 Census.
