Merna E. Nelson indicates Mary Ann's birth date was 1855, which corroborates the age on her marriage certificate. "David Drinkle, 31, Flos/Township of Reach?, a farmer and son of Joseph and Hannah married Mary Ann Dwindle (sic), 17, daughter of Charles and Eliza. The Methodist couple was married by Peter Kerr, and the ceremony was witnessed by George Drinkel (sic) 9 Oct 1872 in Flos." (Ontario Vital Statistics. Marriage. (MS 932, Reel #7, p. 318.) Children's baptismal records may be available in Parish registers for St.James-On-the Lines.
