The McFadden family came from Killoughcarron, near Creeslough, Co. Donegal. Patrick's grandfather was Owen McFadden and Patrick's parents were Patrick and Anne McFadden. Patrick and Anne had seven children:
Owen died in Australia. There is no known family.
Mary married Dan Brennan and had seven children.
Denis married Margaret McGee and had seven children.
James, also known as Seamus, married Anne McBride and had 14 children (James was Rob's great-great-grandfather)
Kate had no family

Two of James's descendants still live in the old McFadden home in Killoughcarron that was built by James in the mid-19th century.
