John MASON
(POSSIBLY ABOUT 1825 - 18 Apr 1900)
John was a land agent, working for many years for the Right Honourable E. A. de Moleyns in Dingle. I have seen several references online to John above having been Master of the Dingle Workhouse but I have come across no evidence to prove that the John Mason who was appointed master of the Dingle Workhouse in the 1850s was our John Mason. It appears to me that there were two John Masons, each with a wife and children, living in Dingle around the same time, hence the confusion regarding the two Mason families from Dingle.
Our John and his wife, Lizzie, and their family lived on Green St., Dingle, Co. Kerry.
