Elizabeth (Liza) Noel HUDSON

Liza, an only child, was born at Nurse Byrne's Private Nursing Home on Baggot St., Dublin.
In 1950, shortly after their marriage, Liza and her husband, Peter, sailed to Kenya to live with Peter's widowed mother, Mildred. Liza returned to Ireland to look after her father following the death of her mother in 1951, returning to Kenya in 1954 after her father's death. Back in Kenya she and Peter ran Barrow Farm in Kipkabus, Western Kenya. The farm was sold in 1966 and the family moved to Limuru, initially living in a rented house and later, following Mildred's death, in Mildred's home on Broomhill. Liza later lived in Watamu, on the Kenya coast.
Liza died of colon cancer.
