Individual Details
James (Jimmy) P. KEARNEY
(28 Jan 1907 - 23 Mar 1965)
Baptismal sponsors were Michael Culhane and Ann Culhane.
Jimmy was educated in St. Michael's College, Listowel and in Notre Dame University, Indiana. He also attended Kenrick Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri (where he was studying at the time of the death of his mother in 1932) but it is thought that he either did not complete his studies or left the priesthood. We do know that he was never married.
Although Jimmy's name is on the headstone of his brother Dan in Ahavoher Cemetery, Moyvane, he is in fact buried in Chicago.
