Individual Details

Mary Jane MOLLOY

(23 Mar 1869 - 17 Sep 1920)

Mary Jane and husband, James, who were neighbours in Co. Roscommn, eloped. Their eldest children were born in England and the younger children in Ireland. The family was living in Elphin town, Co. Roscommon at the time of the 1911 census.

Mary Jane and James died within days of each other of unrelated natural causes, Mary Jane (aged 51) of heart disease and James (58) of stomach cancer. Their youngest children were still very young at the time of their parents' deaths. I am told all of their children emigrated to Australia.
