Individual Details
(7 Mar 1896 - 8 Sep 1980)
Percy, an engineer, grew up in Air Hill, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. He worked for the Board of Works in Dublin, and I am told he had at least one PhD and had a photographic memory. He and his wife, Pearlie, and daughter, Claire, lived at 'Glenari', Newcourt Road, Bray, Co. Wicklow. Their home, which overlooked Bray Head and the coastline, was designed by Stephen Hussey, the husband of Pearlie's first cousin Mary Ryan.
